Have you been to The Roost?
There is a Roost at each of our sites, at Bonham Road the ex-caretaker's house has been refurbished as a fabulous facility that will help families engage more with their children whilst at St. George's we have a room specifically set aside as The Roost, this is in the Carol Jolly building, accessible from the playground next to the trim trail play area.
The Roost will support pupils with additional needs who need to access a wide range of services. Local organisations will partner with the school to use the house for the benefit of the school community, ensuring that the pupils of Valence will continue to have the best provision possible.

Parent & Child Cooking Session
Our Year 6 children have been enjoying a weekly parent and child cooking session in The Roost.
Young Carers
Young Carers are young people who have a caring role within the home. These sessions are a great chance for them to unwind and have fun.
Well Being Therapy
Well Being Therapy is held at The Roost every Monday available for Valence parents/carers.
Walk the Mile
Walk The Mile is a weekly keep fit session for our parents and carers. The session takes place every Tuesday morning at 9am in the front playground at the Bonham Road site.

Stay & Play
Stay & Play is a pre-school session we run at The Roost every Thursday starting at 1pm-3pm. If you would like to join the group with your pre-school child, please contact Vicky Goode at the Bonham Road site to register your interest. Sessions cost £1 per week, payable on the day.
