Science Challenge - Plastic Invention
Resources:
- A range of waste plastic including plastic bags and bottles. *You will need adult help for this*
- Your imagination
- Glue/cello tape
- Paper/card
- Coloured pens/pencils
Instructions:
You are going to create a new product by reusing plastic from your home recycling. This could be a bird feeder, friendship bracelet, a pencil case or anything else your child has the imagination to think of.
Please send a photo on Class Dojo to your teacher. All entries will receive a sticker.
The Science

Did you know… some plastic can take up to 500 years to decompose!

Choose one of the following topics to investigate/discuss:
- Research the process of recycling plastic and create a poster.
- How many bags of plastic can you recycle in the month of January?
