Keep up to date with news from across both sites and upcoming events with our monthly newsletter.

School Uniform

It is so encouraging to see the children coming to school in their uniform, showing that they are proud to be part of the Valence community.

A reminder that Blue and Grey is the Valence way. A white polo shirt (with a collar) is the standard shirt. As the warm weather is with us, grey shorts can be worn, as can summer dresses (blue gingham). Shoes should be mostly black. Girls should not be wearing black leggings without a grey skirt over the top.

Sports Days

Thank you for your support at the sports events. It was great to see the crowds of parents and friends at school or in the park. Well done if you took part in any of the adult events!

Parent View

We value your opinions, and therefore, you will be receiving a link to an online survey. Please complete so that we can identify our strengths and areas for development. The Governing Body take time to analyse the results.

Reminder

It’s great to see so many parents and families at school events like sports days and productions. Please do not upload and share to social media photos/videos with other pupils visible. Not all parents have given permission for their children to be on social media.

Simply Amazing!

Several weeks ago, we held a sponsored sports event. The pupils participated with so much enthusiasm, and the funds raised were so encouraging and generous. After the purchase of prizes for the children, we have about £8000 to spend on the school. We will be buying leisure equipment for the gardens, sports equipment for lunchtimes and new kits for the school teams. Well done everyone!

A Polite Reminder

No vaping or smoking near the school gates.

Nursery Places

We are registering for September 2024, and at both sites, we will offer ALL-DAY provision (8.30am - 3.30pm) to a limited number of pupils. Enquire at the offices about places and procedures. Don’t miss out...

Incredible But True!

Healthy School

The children are learning about how to look after our minds and bodies by what we choose to eat. Please ask your children about what they are studying, so that you can help them make good choices.

Please remember:

  • No nuts of any type.
  • Only water or milk to drink – the school provides these freely too.
  • Minimise the number of foods with chocolate or high sugar content.
