SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancy

This is an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to join Valence Primary School. 

We are looking for a classroom SEN teaching assistant. The successful candidate will be required to provide support
in the following aspects:

  • To be able to work with children who have a range of complex needs including learning, behavioural and
    physical needs.
  • To be able to demonstrate resilience in managing the behaviour of children with complex needs.
  • Remain calm under pressure and be able to adapt to change quickly.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and a genuine commitment to Inclusion

This would suit candidates who are motivated, patient with a calm nature, great verbal communication skills and a passion for making a difference.
