On Monday 28h on a freezing afternoon the Valence Girls got to play their first two league games of the season. The first match was against Leys Primary School and the second against Beam County Primary School.

The competition was hard! In the first match The Leys school scored first, but then a equaliser by Valence then a late second half goal by Valence secured victory in the first game. The second game was a nail biting affair, Valence girls were strong but Beams gaolie just seemed unbeatable! 0-0 in the first half and the girls went out with instructions to shoot wait for mistakes and shot again and finally a rebound off the goalie was picked up by our girls and Valence scored!! Valence then took a defensive stance and the game finished 1-0 to Valence.

Well done to the girls on a couple of great results.
