Festival of Triangles 2022

Something very exciting is happening at Valence Primary School on Friday, 1st July at 2pm. We are having a FESTIVAL of TRIANGLES and you are invited.

Maths Week London is the week beginning 27th June and the children will be preparing all week for the event. There will be lots more FUN Maths activities to do on the day.

Although it is fun and there will be plenty of opportunities to chat and relax. It is also a really valuable way to support your child’s progress in maths.

The event will be so much better if there is some food and we know that some parents/carers in this school are amazing cooks. Of course, the snacks need to be triangular. You can cut a batch of brownies or any traybake into triangles by just cutting the squares in half. Samosas are, of course, fantastic triangles. Corn chips also come in triangles.

Let us see how imaginative you can be (nut-free please).

Do you think you can help us out? If so, please speak to your child’s class teacher. Proceeds raised from the sale of refreshments will go towards Maths resources.

We look forward to seeing you there
